External electric drum

When the motor in a common electric drum is removed and there is still a reduction mechanism inside the drum, it is often called a reduction drum. When the reduction drum is connected to the motor externally, it forms an external motor electric drum, which is often simply referred to as an external electric drum.

The external electric drum is a conveyor drive device that lies between the traditional open drive of motor - reducer - conveyor drum and the ordinary electric drum drive. It has the advantages of good heat dissipation performance of the motor on the outside and easy maintenance or replacement of the motor. In terms of the occupied space and manufacturing materials, it is about one-third less than the open drive, but about one-third more than the ordinary electric drum.

(1)The YDW type is a two-stage reduction fixed-axis gear transmission structure. According to requirements, it can also be manufactured into a three-stage reduction (low belt speed between 0.08 to 0.63 m/s). The tooth profile, gear accuracy and gear material are generally the same as those of ordinary electric drum motors.

(2) The YZW type is an external electric drum with cycloidal pinwheel drive structure. This is a cycloidal pinwheel deceleration mechanism output by a first-stage hard-toothed surface pinwheel housing. The rotating meshing parts are made of bearing steel with a hardness of HRC58-62. Because this product has the following advantages.

1.It features a large output torque and a high load capacity, making it suitable for high-power applications ranging from 11KW to 75KW.

2.Long service life. It can be improved by more than twice compared with fixed-axis gear transmission.

(3) The YTW(H) type is a hard-toothed planetary gear transmission based on the NGW principle. Its design and service life are superior to those of other models. This product is the most ideal new drive device for high-power (18.5 ~ 160kW) belt conveyors.
